Paicho produces five different kinds of jam. It contains fruits grown in the high altitude places so it has different taste against other jam available in the market. Generally jam is made by cooking juice of fruit and adding sugar in it. Though jam, jelly and preserves are considered same in day-to-day life, jam is prepared combining sugar in the juicy fruit material.

As per the global market principle, jam must contain 35% fruits but the ratio of fruits in paicho jam is more than 45% which is why paicho jam can also be called as extra jam.
