Description

Body Scrub:

Body scrub is special treatment for skin not for muscle tension. Scrub will clean away old, dull and dead skin cells to reveal young healthy looking skin and all natural deep pave cleanses will help renew the tone of the skin. Body scrubs are the spa usually combined with an application of lotion or short massage.

Body scrubs are simple spa treatments that exfoliate your skin and leaves it fresh and glowing. All the dirt and grime that you have accumulated on your skin over the days are removed completely, making your skin feel soft as a baby’s bottom!  The abrasive products used in a body scrub help remove the dead skin cells and de-clog your pores, to ensure that no breakout occurs on your skin as well.

Although many people assume that a body scrub is a glorified rub down, this is far from the truth the therapist will use systematic patterns to ensure that every part of your skin is rubber down. The circular motions used during the session helps improve the blood circulation, that will help your relax and feel comfortable. If you have been walking around with a lot of anxiety and stress, a body scrub session will have you feeling de-stressed and relaxed in no time and with glowing skin.

Ayurvedic Massage:

This ayurvedic massage provides relaxation, circulation and elimination of toxins. It helps to rejuvenate the body. Here we use plant based medicines and treatments focused on using this ayurvedic medicines. It is a key part of Ayurvedic therapy. Just as a machine needs to be oiled, the body loves to have its largest organ, the skin, soothed, which is why oils are commonly used in Ayurvedic massage. Oil massage is consistently used throughout Ayurvedic massage treatments. Its calm approach means that recipients are not only induced into a relaxed state during the massage, they also often report an improvement in their sleep patterns and general sense of wellbeing.  In an ideal world, Ayurvedic massage would be carried out daily to help keep at bay the effects that everyday stresses and strains can have on our minds and bodies.

Shirodhara Ayurveda Therapy:

Shirodhara is a form of Ayurveda therapy that involves gently pouring liquids over the forehead, especially over the "third eye" or "chakra point" just above and between the eyebrow, said to be the seat of human consciousness. The name comes from the Sanskrit words shiro (head) and dhara (flow). The Shirodhara technique sotthes and invigorates the senses and the mind.

Shirodhara has been used to treat a variety of conditions including eye diseases, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, greying of hair, neurological disorders, memory loss, insomnia, hearing impairment, tinnitus, vertigo, Ménière's disease and certain types of skin diseases like psoriasis. It is also used non-medicinally at spas for its relaxing properties. Studies report that Ayurvedic Shirodhara is a safe option to improve sleep quality among people who have sleep problems. Shirodhara is also effective in treating mental conditions such as anxiety, and mental stress. The calming effect produced by Shirodhara is similar to that obtained with meditation.

There are specialized forms of shirodhara called ksheeradhara, thakradhara, taildhara and jaladhara.

Shirodhara may begin with a full body massage known as Abhyangam. Shirodhara also involves a head massage. Shirodhara is thought to work by relaxing the hypothalamus in the brain. It can also normalize the functions of hormones that regulate sleep and emotions.
