About author-Peter N. Gregory is the Jill Kerr Conway professor of religion and East Asian studies at Smith College. He lives in Northampton, Massachusetts. Susanne Mrozik earned her PhD at Harvard University and is an associate professor of religion at Mount Holyoke College in western Massachussets. A specialist on gender and Buddhism, she is the author of Virtuous Bodies: The Physical Dimensions of Morality in Buddhist Ethics (2007).
